Both ChatGPT and Google Gemini are outstanding AI chatbots that allow you to do so many tasks. ChatGPT and Gemini are both quite good at writing and creating code.
There isn’t much separating ChatGPT and Google Gemini at the moment with Gemini slightly better for me due to its larger context window, faster results and extensions.

One thing you should know is that you can’t expect ChatGPT or Gemini to do everything for you. I always use them with the idea of AI as a first draft. These AI chatbots can be unreliable so be careful and double-check everything.

Is Google Gemini Better than ChatGPT?
In my opinion, the output from Google Gemini is very slightly better than ChatGPT. The text is usually better formatted, and the writing style a little easier to read. Google Gemini definitely seems to work better with more recent events.
GPT 4 (The paid version of ChatGPT) is really really good but the same is true of Google’s paid version Google Gemini Advanced. At the moment GPT4 is better at coding than Google Gemini.
How Do You Use Google Gemini?
To start using Google Gemini all you need to do is go to the app here.
Then the app is similar to ChatGPT in that you just need to write a prompt of what you would like it to do.
You should also check the settings on your Google Gemini account and check the extensions you want to use. You can have Gemini use YouTube videos, Google Maps and your Google Workspace as part of its research and output.

This really could be amazing if Google finally gets their act together. I have managed to get Google Gemini in my email but it still seems difficult to get Gemini in Google Docs.
Final Thoughts
I have to say I thought it would be hard for me to change from ChatGPT to Google Gemini but I am finding myself using it more and more.
The quality of the paid version is just that bit more detailed and accurate than ChatGPT. On the other hand, chatGPT has great features like custom GPT’s and Image generation which Google is struggling with.
